The Division

As United Supplies had always stored fine wines within its Aberdeen bonded warehouse and sold wine in the offshore duty free market, in 1989 it expanded this operation with the creation of a division to wholesale wine onshore to the local licensed trade. The aim was to provide this sector with a range of quality wines at competitive prices and to provide an unbeatable service from a local company.

Today, the Company has grown to become the largest independent wine supplier in the North East of Scotland. In this competitive market place, its growth and development has been driven by its ability to meet and exceed the demands of its customers.

The Product

With over two thousand wines from around the world, the Company has one of the strongest and diverse wine portfolios in the industry. Its wines are mainly sourced from individually selected wineries and it would be very unusual if any of these wines were also to be found for sale to the general public, in any local retail outlets.

The portfolio includes numerous award and medal winning wines which demonstrates United Supplies commitment to quality.

The Company's philosophy is to provide a range of wines from around the world and to offer its customers a complete collection of competitively priced wines to suit their requirements, from house wine through to classic wines.

Service

As part of the United Supplies service, a sale or return policy is offered for events and special functions. This ensures its customers always have sufficient stock and eliminates expensive overstocking on their part.
All deliveries are by the Company's own transport fleet to ensure speed and flexibility.

Support

The Company has the experience and knowledge to support its customers in the selection of wine, the preparation and production of wine lists, food and wine matching advice, as well as customer staff training. United Supplies also provides expert speakers to support its customers, when they wish to stage their own wine and food events.
