Document Storage & Management Division
The Division
This Division offers a professional and highly secure, records storage and management service with a flexibility tailored to meet individual client requirements.
The Service
The service offered, provides an extension to a client's own premises with the speciality being the extremely swift retrieval of any documents required by the client. As a result of United Supplies being sited in the centre of Aberdeen, a same day service is guaranteed and in most cases collections and deliveries are completed within the same hour, at no additional cost.
Collection, delivery, archive storage, confidential certified destruction, computerised tracking and recording form the basis of the service. The Division has its own dedicated data storage computer system, which has been specifically designed for this purpose. Private viewing areas are also offered within the premises to enable records to be examined without removal from the premises, if this is preferred.
Document Destruction
All of United Supplies secure document shredding is handled onsite at its Aberdeen headquarters by a professional shredding and recycling company. All documents are safely and environmentally destroyed under the supervision of experienced United Supplies staff. A certificate of destruction is provided with each batch of documents destroyed.
Security
As would be expected within a bonded warehouse environment, security is paramount in every element of the infrastructure and operation. This secure facility only permits entry to United Supplies staff and, as with all of the Company's operations, the key factors are security, confidentiality and efficiency.
Customer Base
The customer base encompasses the legal and accountancy professions, colleges and universities, government departments and local authorities, oil related companies as well as general industrial and commercial entities.
There is no requirement for United Supplies' customers to commit to a contractual term or to provide any period of notice to terminate the document storage arrangement.
